Here are some advices which I can give to everyone who will come to live in Germany.

1. Do not make any contracts during first year in Germany. At first you will need Internet, especially in phone. There is one worthy Internet provider, which Simyo called. For 14 Euro you can got 3 Gb with enough speed for 30 days. Quite good for first time. If you got phone with Android system, you can spread Internet through WiFi hotspot in your phone.

I have got Vodafone contract for 14 Euro per month with unlimited speed for 2 years and no way to cancel it. Exist one rule, that you can cancel contract during 2 weeks, but people who tell it very often forget to tell, that this rule not working if contract has been done in the office. By law this variant gives no chances to cancel it at all.

P.S. I found one way to cancel this contract but till now will not tell details while it is still in process...

2. Insurance. I am using now Mawista company, tariff Student Classic plus. This I can't tell details but I using this variant from people, who knows a lot and whom I trust. 

3. In Lidl shops you can buy quite cheap things, clothes and everything you will need for life. The problem is that not every day they offer all what you need, so at first week you have to buy some quite expensive stuff like bed sheets.

4. Be prepared, that in official departments like Studentenwerk nobody speak english. Yep-yep, this is Germany. And they feel quite free and not hesistating of this. So be proud also and have patience to repeat several times that you do not speak German, that's why you came in Germany to lear German. So it is logical, that till now you can't speak German.

5. Use Twitter. Learn some popular german hash-tags like #Hbf and add several german newspapers or people who writing quite a lot and you will be informed about strickes, that happends here not rare and about other stuff.

airports of you town like this one, airport of Münster, or the ones that gives info about traffics like this one. You have to find this by yourself using such usefull ways like Twitter Search Operators.

6. Foursquare will helps you to find nearest shops where you can buy fresh grilled pizza or to buy something to eat if you forgotting, that in sonday shops are closed. And some shops closed also even in Saturday. 

7. Make bank account in Deutsche Bank. You will pay no comission when you take money from your VISA and can use quite not bad Online Banking from DB,

8. For first time use E-Bay to buy some cheap stuff like TV or kettle, they are quite expensive but I found kettle for 15 Euro while here all others not less than 40.

9. Also never cross road in wrong places and keep cool waiting the green light of traffic light. Such people one the little desolate street in Münster, Nord-Rhein Westfalia, also standing not because they have nowhere to hurry. 




Till now can't remember where else I had problems. Will uodate if will remember smth new.

И да, я чувствую, что пришло время как следует возмутиться. Меня достало, что кругом никто не знает элементарных вещей! Меня достало, что японцы нихрена не знают о том, что делается в России, а русские - о том, что делается в Японии. Нет, новости тут ни при чем, все дело в отсутствии у людей всякой способности к воображению. Сколько раз уже было - я говорю со своими учениками про Россию, рассказываю, например, про стоимость коммунальных услуг, а они мне говорят что-нибудь типа "ну выключили бы кондиционер, было бы дешевле, мы в Японии иногда так делаем". Т.е. у людей реально отсутствует воображение начисто! Они не в состоянии себе представить, что зимой может быть холодно - просто не могут себе вообразить такую ситуацию.

Германия. По-немецки эта страна называется Deutschland (ну, конечно, целиком - Bundesrepublik Deutschland, но мы говорим именно о разговорных и удобных названиях, то есть когда мы говорим не «Российская федерация», а просто «Россия»). По-немецки слово «Deutschland» значит «земля людей» или «земля народа».
По-русски мы называем её Германией (как и по-английски, к примеру, Germany). Это название произошло от латинского «gar» (копьё) и «man» (человек), то есть, по сути, «земля копьеносцев». Понятно, что так назвали германские племена за их самое ходовое оружие, когда те устраивали набеги на соседние области.
По-французски Германию называют «Allemagne». Древнегерманское племя аллеманнов обитало во времена до Франкской империи на территории, которая нынче является частью Франции. Поэтому в переводе с древнефранцузского (и с латыни) «allemagne» - это тоже «Земля людей», переводной аналог «Deutschland».
В восточной Европе Германию называют «Niemcy» (Польша), «Nemti» (румынский), «Nemecko» (чешский). Этот топоним произошёл от изначально венгерского «Nemet», «немые». Так венгры называли тех, кто говорит не на их языке (да и не только венгры, все славяне. А те, кто древнеславянский разумел - те "словились", отсюда и название "славяне" по одной из гипотез.)

Three days watched transmissions on the German state and commercial information channels, devoted to the Second World War termination in Europe and to the first post-war weeks. There was a lot of reports, both documentary and art ones. The general leitmotif such as Americans - humanists, supporters. Well, they bombed on the areas so it we, Germans, are guilty (and in tv are given scenes of bombardments of English cities). Russian - robbers and tyrants.
